Lilibet is perfect for families with children, with a gentle slope down to the beach a few paces away! 

 

Can I bring my dog?

YES! Dogs are more than welcome, Southcliff beach is dog-friendly all year round. Please remember to clean up your dog’s mess. A spare bowl and poop bags are provided. Please do not leave dogs unattended in/out of the hut.

 

Where are the nearest facilities?
Lilibet is near to the Pier toilets (open all year round) and to the promenade toilets (April to October only).

The closest tap can be found 4 huts away, or 5 huts the other way, just past Mays Broadwalk Café.

 

Where can I Park?
Church Road car park, CO14 8DE.

Station car park, CO14 8DH

Millennium Square car park, CO14 8AF

 

There is also parking along the residential streets nearby.

What time can I arrive and depart? Can I sleep overnight?
9am-6pm (High Season) May, June, Jul, Aug, Sept*
9am-5pm (Low season) Apr, Sept, Oct

 

Unfortunately you cannot sleep in any Beach huts overnight.

How should we leave the Hut?

Be kind and leave no trace behind! Tidy up after yourself by using the cleaning equipment provided and returning it to its rightful spot. Before you head out, dispose of any rubbish in the Main Promenade Bin.

Unfortunately, we can't control the weather, but we can control our policy. If you need to cancel, please inform us at least two weeks in advance to receive a refund minus £20. However, if you provide less notice than that, we won't be able to provide any refunds. We apologise, but we cannot accommodate take-backs or date swaps.

  • Gas Stove/Kettle

  • Spare Portable gas stove under kitchen unit

  • Cooking Pot/Pan

  • Small amount of Beach Toys (we advise to bring your own)

  • Parasol

  • Fire Blanket/First Aid Kit

  • Dust pan and brush/Broom/Mop

  • Washing up bowl and cleaning accessories

Had a fantastic Bank Hol Mon at Lilibet Hut. Close to the cafe, tap and toilets. The hut was really clean with comfy seats, a bench to put your feet up inside, the kitchen area had plenty of space to make our hotdogs and a pot to boil them. The perfect location for families with kids so close to everything. Thanks for a super spacious base for the day!

We had such a great day. The hut is located perfectly with the slope a few steps away. The cafe near by, taps for your refreshments. The pier is literally 3mins away. Highly recommended

Stayed at Lilibet today - lovely beach hut, it’s better in reality than photos show it. Great to have good size table and chairs and some nice touches in the hut, cushions, books… a really enjoyable stay!
