How do I book one of your beach huts?
Click ‘Beach Hut Hire’ from the main menu, select the beach hut you would like to hire. Click the dates you would like on the calendar and click Book Now. This leads you onto your shopping basket. If you have a discount code or gift voucher code they can be entered in here. (All Caps) Update your basket or click checkout if you have no codes. You will need to register an account with us to continue your booking. This will take you to the checkout for a secure online payment where you can pay with G pay, credit card, debit card or Paypal. A booking confirmation will be sent to your email.

From the Pier end, with the pier on your left, walk past The Beach Kiosk along the prom, past the brightly coloured huts that all look the same, round the bend, before and past ‘May’s Boardwalk Café’ and the huts are just along from there
What happens when you book a beach hut with us?
If you've booked a week or more in advance you will receive a booking email confirmation straight away and then another email a week before your booking with all the info you need.
If you book 1-7days before you will receive 1 email straight away with all the Info you need. Please read down to end of your booking confirmation.
How do I gain access to the hut?
Access to the hut is via a key safe on the side of the hut. You will receive an email with the keysafe code 1 week before your booking. Please check junk/spam mail.
Which Huts have perspex windows?
Wiggles, Summer, Florence & Bluebell.
How many people are allowed in and out of the huts?
A maximum of 6 people per hut. 8 including pets. Alice Beach huts have the rights to ask you to leave if we find an excess of guests.
What months are you open?
High Season: June, July, Aug, Sept £60
Low Season: Mar*, Apr, May, Oct £40
We often have weekday discounts excluding school holidays. Please check our social media for updates.
How do I pay?
We accept payments via debit card, credit card or Paypal.
Payments are required in full at the time of booking
What are your Check in and Check out times?
High Season: 8am-6pm
Low Season: 9am-5pm
Can we stay in the huts overnight?
Unfortunately you cannot stay overnight.
Are your huts on the beach/front row?
All beach huts are situated on the Front row on the promenade. Two Bees,Bluebell & Sand Castle have 6 steps in front of them.

- Washing up bowl and accessories
Sometimes things do go missing but we try our hardest to keep the list above upto date.
Please bring a tea towel for your washing up!
How accessible are the huts?
All our huts apart from SandCastle, Two Bees & Bluebell are ground level.
They all have 2/3 steps to gain entry into them.
Florence, Alice and Summer, Two Little Ducks & Bluebell have grab handles on the sides of the doors to help with entering the huts.
Unfortunately the huts are not accessible for wheelchairs to physically enter into the huts but the promenade is wheelchair friendly and there is a ramp that leads down to the sand.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are more than welcome, SouthCliff beach is dog-friendly all year round. Please remember to clean up your dog’s mess. A spare bowl and poop bags are provided. Please do not leave dogs unattended in/out of the hut.
Do you have Gas or Electricity?
None of the huts have electricity but are fully equipped with a one ring gas stove and gas bottle. A spare portable gas stove can be found behind the main gas supply with spare gas cans. Please remember not to leave the stove unattended when on and to turn the gas off when you depart.
How do i use the gas stove?
Instructions for both main gas stove and portable stove are provided in the info pack in hut.
Please watch this short video on how to change the spare gas canister as if it is not done correctly it can cause a fire. (this is shown at 40 seconds on the video clip)
Do not use the gas stove when the perspex window and / or door are closed as there will not be enough ventilation which could cause a build-up of carbon monoxide in the hut.
Can we bring a BBQ?
BBQ’s are not permitted in or around the beach huts. This includes the Promenade.
Is there running water?
The taps can be found at the end of each beach hut row.
The taps are turned off from Oct and turned back on from Apr
Are there toilet facilities?
Public toilets can be found opposite the pier.
Are there disabled toilets nearby?
Disabled toilets can be found opposite the pier. You will need a radar key to access them.
Changing places also have facilities on the promenade for more info
Are there beach toys?
We provide several beach toys in all huts but advise you bring or buy your own.
What if it rains?
We provide books and games to try to keep the children entertained.
Wiggles, Summer, Florence & Bluebell Huts have Perspex windows which help keep the wind and rain out on those unfortunate rainy days. The pier is also undercover.
Should I tidy up before I leave?
The Hut should be left in a clean and tidy condition and swept out prior to departure. Cleaning equipment and products are provided for that purpose.
What happens if I lock myself out/lose the key/Break the Keysafe?
If you lock yourself out or lose the set of keys please contact us on 07552195367 or via fb. This will be at your expense and costs incurred by any damage to the door or lock and replacement keys will also be your responsibility to pay for.

Where can i stay overnight locally?
Check out time is 6pm in high season and 5pm in low season.
Although the huts are checked each day after 6pm, please do leave the hut as you found it and be vacated by 6pm. Please ensure that the beach hut key is placed back into the key safe box and the code scrambled.
The Pier is the third longest in England with rides, ten pin bowling & arcades.
