With the pier in front of you, looking out to sea turn right, walk along the promenade, round the bend, past ‘May’s Boardwalk Café’,Past the Prom toilets and its approx 30 hut after that.

165A is perfect for families with children, with a steps down to the beach a few paces away!

Can I bring my dog?
YES! Dogs are more than welcome, Southcliff beach is dog-friendly all year round. Please remember to clean up your dog’s mess. A spare bowl and poop bags are provided. Please do not leave dogs unattended in/out of the hut.

Where are the nearest facilities?
165A is near to the promenade toilets (April to October only)

The closest tap can be found up the set off steps near the hut.
 

Where can I Park?
Church Road car park, CO14 8DE.

Station car park, CO14 8DH

Millennium Square car park, CO14 8AF

There is also parking along the residential streets nearby.
 

What time can I arrive and depart? Can I sleep overnight?
9am - 6pm (High Season) May, June, Jul, Aug, Sept*
9am-5pm (Low Season) Apr, Sept, Oct
Unfortunately you cannot sleep in any Beach huts overnight.

How should we leave the Hut?
Exiting the hut?
Be kind and leave no trace behind! Tidy up after yourself by using the cleaning equipment provided and returning it to its rightful spot. Before you head out, dispose of any rubbish in the Main Promenade Bin.

Our Cancellation Policy – Let's Discuss
Unfortunately, we can't control the weather, but we can control our policy. If you need to cancel, please inform us at least two weeks in advance to receive a refund minus £20. However, if you provide less notice than that, we won't be able to provide any refunds. We apologise, but we cannot accommodate take-backs or date swaps.

  • Small amount of Beach Toys (we advise to bring your own)

  • Fire Blanket/First Aid Kit

  • Dust pan and brush/Broom/Mop

  • Washing up bowl and cleaning accessories

My friend has a caravan in Walton but has never used one of the huts so for her b'day I hired the Bluebell Beach Hut. We were so happy when we opened the door! A bright, clean and well equipped beach hut welcomed us. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you

Booked bluebell 12*13*14*15th July. Had a great time weather not too bad was hot when the Sun was out and not cold when it went in.Beach Hut was great had everything you would need to enjoy yourselves on the beach providing you get there early enough to enjoy beach while the tide was out. Will defo book again this year.

Just on our way home, absolutely brilliant little hut. We stayed in the sand castle. Everything supplied from teac coffee sugar milk and even sweetener, tables chairs deck chairs, playing cards kids chalks , and stuff for the dogs. Was so impressed I have booked again for my sons birthday, getting in was so easy , easy set up and a lovely beach day despite the weather being on the grey side it never stopped us having an awesome day. definitely recommend 👌

Such a wonderful day at Bluebell! Beautifully decorated and fully equipped, the perfect location for the pier and toilets. Even the weather was kind to us! We will definitely be booking again x

We hired sand castle on the 12th September and we was beyond impressed it was perfect, everything we needed was In there, the kids loved the body boards and nets and it was sooo quiet we literally had a whole section of beach to ourselves!!we can’t wait to book again 😍😃😃😃

On our way home from our first trip to Walton-on-the-Naze and first stay in a beach hut! We had such a fabulous time and loved beach hut life 💛 weather was incredible too! We arrived early and left just after lunch. Perfect day. Perfect spot. Perfect hut. Thank you ☀️😎 xxx

We had a lovely day today at the bluebell hut. Everything was so clean and my kids loved the boogie boards. Tea, coffee all provided and ketchup for our yummy bacon sandwiches. Perfect location to watch the kiddies play on the beautiful sand. Thank you for a lovely day x

We’ve just left bluebell hut and have had an amazing day for my sons 4th birthday! It’s really a beautiful hut with everything you need and a fabulous location.  My children were amazed with the amount of toys abs little chairs.
